This holiday season Walmart wanted to do something special for its customers and decided to go all out with a physical gift wrapping machine. To accompany the “Gift-O-Matic” machine, Walmart asked us to create a video for families at home to watch for those who couldn’t make the event. Our job was to utilize models of the physical machine to recreate the experience digitally. With hundreds of parts and dozens of moving components we set out to animate the entire thing in C4D utilizing Redshift for rendering. And yes, in case you were wondering, render times were VERY fun on this project but nothing our render farm couldn’t handle 😉 Happy Holidays from us Monkeys!
